What should be paid attention to in curtain wall construction?

A, curtain wall fire belt, lightning protection facilities installation and requirements:

(1) isolation measures should be taken for the fire protection layer, and the thickness and width of the fire protection layer should be determined according to the fire resistance limit of the fire protection material, and a fire zone should be formed at the floor;

(2) the fire protection layer of curtain wall must be made of heat-resistant steel plate with anti-corrosion treatment and thickness of not less than 1.5mm, and aluminum plate shall not be used;

(3) the sealing material of the fireproof layer shall be fireproof sealant, and the fireproof sealant shall have the fireproof inspection report of the legal testing organization.

Lightning protection facilities shall meet the following requirements:

① Lightning protection devices should be installed from top to bottom in the curtain wall structure, and should be reliably connected with the lightning protection devices of the main structure;

② The design and installation of lightning protection device for curtain wall shall be approved by the architectural design unit.


Second, the curtain wall gap sealing sequence and requirements:

Attention should be paid to sealing weather-resistant sealant when injecting glue:

(1) fully clean the gap between plates, and there should be no water, paint, coating, rust, cement, mortar and dust. The bonding surface should be thoroughly cleaned and dried. Toluene or methyl diethyl ketone can be used as cleaning agent;

(2) In order to adjust the depth of the joint and avoid three-sided adhesive, the joint should be filled with PVC foam material (small round bar);

(3) in order to avoid sealant pollution of glass and aluminum, should be in the seam on both sides of the protective tape;

(4) after injecting glue, the surface of glue joint should be scraped flat, and excess glue should be removed;

⑤ After glue injection, tear off the protective adhesive tape and wipe it off with solvent if necessary;

⑥ Pay attention to curing after injecting glue. Before the glue is completely hardened, don't be contaminated with dust and scratches. Glue injection sequence should be from top to bottom, from horizontal to vertical, from middle to edge.
